East Hull Community Farm

The farm within the city

East Hull Community Farm is a registered charity and offers a unique learning experience to adults with learning difficulties, pupils from special schools and people with mental health problems.

For almost twenty years it has given many people the opportunity to learn new skills in a friendly, calm and therapeutic environment.

East Hull Community Farm is an ideal place to help build confidence, self esteem and helps people towards a fitter and healthier lifestyle.

East Hull Community Farm is a real working farm and open to the public. So come and have a look around. If you are lucky you may get to see lambs being born in the Springtime or Sheep sheared in June.

The farm is set in almost 7 acres of land most of which is taken up by fields for the animals. We have a training room  for our courses, greenhouses, animal  housing, two garden areas and farm shop.

You are welcome to come and have a look around and maybe you may be tempted to buy some of our  delicious produce -

We get lots of educational group visits from schools, nurseries and play groups etc. On occasions it is the first time some of the children have seen a farm animal before. Lots of the children have never been so close to a farm animal that they can touch them. As you can imagine it is a magical experience for all children.

The visits are guided by at least one member of farm staff and the level of information is tailored to the needs of the individual group. The children love the visit and the hands on experience with the animals.
